Tron (available on Binance) [TRX] & Tron (available on Binance) Token Swap – The Tron (available on Binance) main net launch is exactly two weeks away and the community surrounding the project is buzzing.

The TRX token is currently an ERC20 token supported by the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) blockchain, but once the main net for Tron (available on Binance) is launched, the token will be swapped over to be completely supported on the Tron (available on Binance) blockchain. EOS is launching its main net around the same time and is switching its EOS token to its platform as well. The steps to get your ERC20 tokens registered for the swap can be a bit confusing, but the Tron (available on Binance) foundation is trying to completely take the task off of the investors hands.

Token Swap Countdown

The Tron (available on Binance) Foundation has started negotiating with large cryptocurrency exchanges to get them to support the latest token swap set for June 21st – June 25th. Currently, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Binance, Bibox, Gate.io, Coinrail, Coinnest, and Zebpay have all committed to technically support the token swap. If you hold your TRX on any of these exchanges, you aren’t required to do anything but to have all your TRX on the exchange when the switch occurs.

UpBit, Bithumb, Bit-Z, Huobi, Koinex, and OKEx have yet to confirm their support for the token swap, but there is still time. It remains unclear what will occur if the Tron (available on Binance) team doesn’t finalize deals with all the exchanges holding its ERC20 token.

Exodus made an announcement via Twitter that it will not support the token migration.

Hi there! Exodus is not an exchange so we will not be able to support the TRX migration. Please move your Tron (available on Binance) from Exodus to an exchange to access your mainnet TRX! ^CG
