The EOS token registration deadline is coming up soon. Are you ready?

EOS Token Registration: Why Do I Need to Register?

EOS holders need to register because, if they don’t, their EOS tokens are going to be frozen – in other words, they won’t be able to use their EOS tokens anymore.

At the moment, EOS tokens are ERC20 tokens registered on the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) network. When EOSIO 1.0 launches, EOS is going to separate from the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) network and become its own platform. When that happens, any EOS tokens left behind on Ethereum (available on Coinbase) won’t be valid anymore.

For those users who are holding their EOS on Binance, Binance is going to take care of the EOS token registration for you. But if you hold EOS anywhere else, you will need to register yourself.

EOS Token Registration: When Do I Need to Register?

All users must register their tokens before June 1st, 2018. After that time, EOS will be its own entity.

Unregistered tokens will be frozen indefinitely by June 1st, 2018 at 22:59:59 UTC. After that time, you will not be able to transfer EOS tokens from the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) blockchain.
