Coin vs. Coin – who will be crowned the Crypto Olympics Champ?

At long last, we are seeing some green today! The majority of coins are up today, making for an exciting start to our second round of semi-finals. Our contenders today are EOS and NEM (XEM). It’s going to be a great race!

In case you’ve missed it, these are the rules: we start with two coins and measure their gains and losses between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. When the 4:00 pm finish line hits, whichever coin has gained the most (or lost the least if both coins are down) within our time frame is crowned the winner for the day and moves into the next bracket. We carry on until we end with our ultimate coin – the Crypto Olympics Champ.

We will be holding a podium ceremony at the end of our games to award the gold, silver, and bronze medals to the appropriate coins.

Obviously, this is just for fun and should not be taken as serious trading advice.

Let’s get on with the competition!

EOS

EOS has made it this far into the competition for good reason and has been training for this day its entire life. EOS is stepping up to the starting line with a current selling price of $8.45. This pus the aLTCoin up 4.01% in the past 24 hours – but will it be able to grow the most by 4:00 pm PST to win this semi-final round? EOS fans everywhere hope that it will – they would love to see their coin race another day!

Source: CoinMarketCapEOS has dropped off a little, but the coin’s not out yet! Digging its heels in, EOS will race to the end.

NEM (XEM)

Don’t count NEM out just because it’s a lower ranking coin. Already, NEM has proved it can beat higher ranking coins, and XEM is looking to do it again. NEM is starting at $0.436392, which puts the coin up 2.59% in the past 24 hours.

Source: CoinMarketCapNEM’s growth looks to be a little slower than EOS at the moment, but that just means the coin hasn’t tired itself out yet! Don’t count NEM out just yet!
