Coin vs. Coin – who will be crowned the Crypto Olympics Champ?
Today is going to be a challenge for our competitors, who will have to race through a sea of red on the crypto markets right now. All coins but two in the top 100 are down right now. Looks like this race might come down to whoever can lose the least! Today, our competitors are Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) (BTC) and VeChain (VEN).
In case you’ve missed it, these are the rules: we start with two coins and measure their gains and losses between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. When the 4:00 pm finish line hits, whichever coin has gained the most (or lost the least if both coins are down) within our time frame is crowned the winner for the day and moves into the next bracket. We carry on until we end with our ultimate coin – the Crypto Olympics Champ.
We will be holding a podium ceremony at the end of our games to award the gold, silver, and bronze medals to the appropriate coins.
Obviously, this is just for fun and should not be taken as serious trading advice.

Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) (BTC)
It’s about time we unleashed the big dog! Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) is starting today’s race at $10,662.60, which puts BTC down 9.09% in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) will need to pull out all stops if it wants to come out as the day’s winner.
Source: CoinMarketCapBitcoin (available on Coinbase) has been steadily declining in the past 24 hours. The big coin will have to do better than that if it expects to win.
VeChain (VEN)
Clearly the underdog, VeChain’s not about to go down without a fight. VeChain is starting today at $5.71. VEN is currently down 17.49% in the past 24 hours.

Both coins need to ramp up the energy if either expects to win!
Today’s race is going to be a tight one – check back in at 4:00 pm PST to see who came away with the smallest loss (or, who knows, maybe one of the coins will be able to achieve some gains) to become today’s winner.
