With March now behind us, the question now becomes… What coins were up for the month and what coins dropped? Sit back and relax, because we’ve done all the work for you – We created a Crypto March Overview to check out the stats of the month.

NEO and Bytom (BTM) are the top gainer and loser for the month of March, but which is which?

Coins included in this breakdown are only those currently listed within the top 30 cryptocurrencies. All prices are taken from the historical data provided CoinMarketCap, from the “opening” price on March 1st, 2018, to the “closing” price on March 31st, 2018.

Crypto March Overview: Losers

We’ll start with the bad news. The majority of coins in the top 30 cryptos dropped in March, some of them by quite a bit.

NEO lost the most, going from $133.65 on March 1st to $50.13 on March 31st. NEO dropped by 62.49%.

Nano and Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Gold (BTG) also lost a fair amount of value, dropping by 61.00% and 60.79% respectively.

Crypto March Overview: Winners

Out of the 30 tokens, only three coins managed to grow this month. Bytom (BTM) grew the most, at 55.25%. BTM went from $0.341199 on March 1st to $0.529701 on March 31st.

Binance Coin (BNB) also grew this month, its price increasing by 5.84%. TETHer (USDT) grew by 0.02%, although keep in mind that TETHer is tied to the USD, which explains why it lacks the same price fluctuation as most cryptos.
