Ripple (available on Binance) News #1 – Exec Explains Why XRP Has Hype
Cory Johnson, Ripple (available on Binance) chief market strategist, recently opened up about why he thinks XRP has the hype that it does, despite the coin falling by more than 70% this year.
According to Johnson, it is simply because people have money at stake. When your hard-earned paycheque is at stake, people “start to pay a little more attention to things.” He then added that he thinks “that’s one of the reasons there is such FUD.” Essentially, Johnson believes that when you have made a bet somewhere, you want other things to fail. He provided the example of ETHer: “I think there are ETHer holders who hate XRP because they hold ETHer.”

Ripple (available on Binance) News #2 – Exec Leading Fed Reserve Task Force
Word has surfaced that Ryan Zagone has been selected to be a part of the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payment Task Force Steering Committee. Not only has he been selected for the task force, but Ripple (available on Binance)’s own will be leading the ranks, comprising of roughly 300 representatives from various industries, such as payment services and financial institutions.
In response to the news, Zagone said that it is “a privilege to be selected.” He added that he is excited about “leveraging Ripple (available on Binance)’s global experience.”
