Ethereum (available on Coinbase) (ETH) has announced the dates for this year’s Devcon4. The annual Ethereum (available on Coinbase) conference has focused on research, development, developers, and other Ethereum (available on Coinbase)-based presentations for the past four years. It is a hotly anticipated event on the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) calendar every year. 

Devcon4 – What Do We Know?

This year, the annual event will be taking place in Prague from October 30-November 2, 2018. In previous years it has taken place in Mexico, China, and the UK.

The first ever Devcon occurred in Berlin, Germany in 2014 and was “a classroom-sized gathering” where the “the first visions of what Ethereum (available on Coinbase) would come to be were presented to core developers and founding team members.”

How far Ethereum (available on Coinbase) has come, last year, Devcon3 in Cancun, Mexico, had nearly 2,000 attendees. This number was nearly two and a half times more than the year before, in 2016. This year that number is only expected to grow again for Devcon4.

Devcon has said that the upcoming conference will continue “to serve [its] global community of Ethereum (available on Coinbase) developers, designers, and ecosystem-builders to come togETHer to connect, learn and share with one another.”
