Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash price has hit the highest level of $1,800 for the first time since January, and several speculations still surround the coin. The broader market rally during the weekend added to the price gains. The war of words between Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) and Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash lovers has also been inciting price movements over the last few weeks.
Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash price rose 180% since it traded around $650 last month. It was the biggest winners in top ten crypto coins last week. Its trading volume rose more than 700% in the previous month.
The coin’s trading volume currently stands around $1.5 billion – with the majority of volume coming from Upbit, OKEx, Bithumb, and Bitfinix.
Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash has been experiencing good and bad news over the last couple of weeks. This news included: its acceptance on the London Block Exchange, its withdraw from the Roger Ver’s Bitcoin (available on Coinbase).com lawsuit, and its delisting from coinmarketcap.com.
The upcoming Hard Fork event on May 15 is a significant catalyst for creating huge support for Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash price. BCH currently trades around $1,650 after hitting a four-months-high on Sunday.
EOS is the Biggest Loser
EOS – the fifth largest coin, was among the most prominent losers last week. The EOS coin plunged sharply last week after hitting its all-time high of $23 on April 29. EOS coin currently trades in the range of $17 with small sideways moves. The coin lost 10% of value in the last seven days. Its market cap stands around $14.4 billion, and its trading volume is at $1.27 billion.
EOS price has been receiving support from infrastructural developments. Following the thriving tests of Dawn 1.0 – 3.0, its developers have also launched EOSIO Dawn 4.0 before the full launch of EOSIO 1.0 in June this year – which will create a unique blockchain for developers and enhances its transactions processing speed.
