Ripple (available on Binance) price (XRP) outperformed the top two coins last week in regards to price appreciation: Ripple (available on Binance) coin traded above $0.90 level last week for the first time in forty-five days. This rise was driven by rumors of Binance’s intentions to add USD to crypto assets. The broader bull-run in cryptocurrency markets also added to XRP coin price.
Ripple (available on Binance) was one of the worst performers during the latest bearish trend, which pushed its price to four-month lows early in April, amid traders concerns over regulators crack down and tax season.
XRP coin, however, started gaining momentum after hitting the four-month low on April 6. Its price almost doubled in the last two weeks; XRP coin jumped from $0.47 to $0.932 on April 20.

Its price soared more than 30% last week alone, outperforming Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) (BTC) and Ethereum (available on Coinbase) (ETH) price gains. BTC and ETH coins rose 8% and 22% last week. Ripple (available on Binance)’s total market capitalization swells to $33.8 billion at present, substantially higher from $18 billion two weeks ago.
The third largest coin regarding market capitalization stands around $0.86 level today, and market pundits expect Ripple (available on Binance) to breach the $1 mark in the short-term.
Yoshitaka Kitao Expects XRP to Reach $10
Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO of Tokyo based SBI Holdings, expects Ripple (available on Binance) price to reach an astounding $10 by the end of this year.
Although the price forecast looks quite strange at the moment, the SBI CEO has expressed sTron (available on Binance)g confidence in its blockchain technology – which he believes along with the broader crypto market rally will allow XRP coin to attain the price target.
SBI Holdings has also been involved in the creation of a new remittance app called Money Tap. This app will allow the users to make instant cross-border transactions on a 24/7 basis.
