Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum (available on Coinbase)’s notorious leader, has been on a confrontational rampage lately starting with his April fools meta-joke about “capping” the supply of ETHer at 120 million. After explaining his thoughts on the proposal he found valid, Buterin wanted to point out his well-hidden joke bringing back up the Tron (available on Binance) whitepaper plagiarism accusations.
And by the way, most people missed one of the more well-hidden jokes in https://t.co/2TE0MERuSM: ~20% of the blogpost was plagiarized from https://t.co/Lbbf1wdVFf

Back in early January, the Tron (available on Binance) Foundation was hit with Plagiarism accusations with their whitepaper. It seems that Buterin wanted to stir that pot again, following Tron (available on Binance)’s test net launch.

Tron (available on Binance)’s Founder has finally responded four days later with an infographic showcasing how Tron (available on Binance) outperforms Ethereum (available on Coinbase).
Why #Tron (available on Binance) is better than #ETH: 1. 10000TPS vs. 25TPS 2. zero fee vs. high fee 3. consistent Coinburn vs. no coinburn 4. Java vs. Solidity 5. sTron (available on Binance)g extensibility vs. no ex. 6. 1 billion USD developers rewards vs. no plan 7. 100 million users vs. small number #TRX $TRX pic.twitter.com/WvxH5EToa8

Sun’s reasons for why Tron (available on Binance) is better than Ethereum (available on Coinbase).
10000TPS vs. 25TPS
Zero fee vs. high fee
consistent Coinburn vs. no coinburn
Java vs. Solidity
STron (available on Binance)g extensibility vs. no ex.
1 billion USD developers rewards vs. no plan
100 million users vs. small number
Sun received some backlash, seeing as TRX was launched on the Ethereum (available on Coinbase) platform and remains an ERC20 token.
One user named John tweeted:
“yes great business ETHics. Degrading the hand that has fed you from day 1. The more you tweet the more I dislike you as a person.”
Buterin struck back to the infographic saying:
8. Better white paper writing capability (Ctrl+C + Ctrl+V much higher efficiency than keyboard typing new content)

The Debate? Product vs. Whitepaper
One Tron (available on Binance) enthusiast responded to Buterin’s response by saying:
Product>whitepaper who cares about the manifesto when its the product that counts. I’ll take the product ty.
— Mak Hakeem (@CryptoInLondon) April 6, 2018
And blockchain code is open source so I aint bothered if its copied as long as I get a better product.

An Ethereum (available on Coinbase) enthusiast shot back and said:
there is a lot of difference between the “blockchain code” and whitepaper. if you cant even write an original whitepaper then i dont see the point in founding a cryptocurrency.

It seems that there are individuals who feel sTron (available on Binance)gly on both sides of the matter. Sun has since responded to shut down the confrontation and has taken the high road – As usual opinions are flying high.
Thanks for the reply of @VitalikButerin . #Tron (available on Binance) benefits a lot from #ETH and #ETH inspires us to make a better decentralized platform. If you are more familiar with #Tron (available on Binance) you will know we have launched testnet (Mainnet 5/31)and are more than white paper writing. #TRX $TRX https://t.co/GVHqWRTeNP

Also, #Tron (available on Binance) is in test net stage right now and we need more prestigious developers like @VitalikButerin to give us valuable advice and code review to make #Tron (available on Binance) better and sTron (available on Binance)ger. #TRX $TRX Please check Github: https://t.co/mr1u2etMSg https://t.co/GVHqWRTeNP

After reading this, what are your thoughts? Obviously, an un-plagiarised whitepaper and working blockchain project is the goal, but IF the whitepaper is in fact partially plagiarised, does it matter when Tron (available on Binance) has a working main net at the end of May? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this in the comment box below.
