Ah, the Crypto Oscars – a night of glam, an evening of sophistication, but most importantly, an award show you won’t want to miss.
Already, coins have raced through the Crypto Olympics. Now, it’s time to dress up and put the coins to the vote – that’s right, your vote.
On Friday, March 2nd, we will be holding our very first Crypto Oscars. The award show will be broken up into eight different categories. Four categories will be based on calculations done on the day of the show; four categories will be up to the fans.
Keep an eye on our Twitter page for opportunities to vote. We will be posting all week on Twitter and across other crypto channels to collect the votes.
The categories and nominees are:
The Underdog Coin
What aLTCoin do you think will take control this year? Anybody can vote for what coin they think should win.
The nominees are Tron (available on Binance) (TRX), Lisk (LSK), NEM (XEM), and Nano.
Best Crypto Game
What is, or will be, the best crypto game of them all? This is based on the gameplay we have access to now, and for those games not yet fully out, what we know about them so far. Anybody can vote for what crypto game they think should win.
The nominees are CryptoKitties, Tron (available on Binance) Dogs, World of ETHer, and NEOn District.
Best ICO
What is your favorite ICO, ongoing or upcoming? Anybody can vote for what ICO they think should win.
The nominees are Faceter, Friendz, Sapien, and AdHive.
Fan Favourite Coin
What is the fan favorite coin? Anybody can vote for their favorite coin.
The nominees are All coins.
Greatest Growth Since Creation
What coin has grown the most since it was initially created? This will be calculated from the coin’s inception to the day of publication, based on the coin’s price.
The nominees are Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) (BTC), Ethereum (available on Coinbase) (ETH), Ripple (available on Binance) (XRP), Bitcoin (available on Coinbase) Cash (BCH), and Cardano (ADA).
Greatest Growth in One Year
What crypto has grown the most in one year? This will be calculated the day of publication, from March 2, 2017, to March 2, 2018, based on the crypto’s price.
The nominees are Litecoin (available on Coinbase) (LTC), Stellar (XLM), NEO, Dash, and Monero (XMR).
Greatest Growth Year-to-Date
What token has grown the most since the beginning of this year? This will be calculated on the day of publication, based on the token’s price.
The nominees are NEO, Ethereum (available on Coinbase) (ETH), Ethereum (available on Coinbase) Classic (ETC), VeChain (VEN), and Lisk (LSK).
(At the moment, these are the first coins, based on market cap, that are up from where they started at the beginning of the year.)
Top Performer for the Day
What coin has taken the lead for the day? This will be calculated on the day of publication, based on the coin’s price growth in the last 24 hours.
The nominees are All coins.
