Welcome to the Crypto Olympics: Day 13

Check out Day 12 of the Crypto Olympics

Coin vs. Coin – who will be crowned the Crypto Olympics Champ?

It’s another rough day for crypto, but nothing will stop the crypto fans from cheering from the sidelines. Today’s competitors are the winners from Day 11 and Day 12: VeChain (VEN) vs. NEM (XEM).

In case you’ve missed it, these are the rules: we start with two coins and measure their gains and losses between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. When the 4:00 pm finish line hits, whichever coin has gained the most (or lost the least if both coins are down) within our time frame is crowned the winner for the day and moves into the next bracket. We carry on until we end with our ultimate coin – the Crypto Olympics Champ.

We will be holding a podium ceremony at the end of our games to award the gold, silver, and bronze medals to the appropriate coins.

Obviously, this is just for fun and should not be taken as serious trading advice.

To see how we’re breaking up the rounds, check out the chart below. Otherwise, let’s get on with the competition!

VeChain (VEN)

VeChain is still riding the high of yesterday, having beaten out the big crypto on campus Bitcoin (available on Coinbase). Now, the little aLTCoin that could is looking for another win. VeChain is hoping to pull from the power of Thor to push it right to top spot on the podium.

VeChain is stepping up to the mat at a current selling price of $5.50. The coin is down 4.87% in the past 24 hours, but being down didn’t stop VeChain yesterday and it might not stop it today either.

NEM (XEM)

NEM is starting the day at $0.426284. The coin is down 9.60% in the past 24 hours. NEM knows the next few hours are do or die, but this coin is going to need some serious growth if it hopes to beat out VeChain.

Check back in at 4:00 pm PST to find out who today’s winner will be. It’s going to be one heck of a race, folks! You won’t want to miss this.
