Welcome to the Crypto Olympics: Day 2!

Coin vs. Coin – who will be crowned the Crypto Olympics Champ?

This is how it’s going to work: we’ll start with two coins, then we monitor their gains and losses throughout the day, on the hour. The finish line is 4:00 pm PST. Whichever coin crosses the finish line with the highest percentage gain (or whichever coin lost the least in the case where they’re both down) will be the winner of the day. Then, the next round begins the following morning with two new coins. The rounds will be broken down by the chart below. By the end of February 25th, we will have our ultimate coin!

Day two is underway and today’s competing coins will be, drumroll please, Litecoin (available on Coinbase) (LTC) and MONERO (XRM)! The first day of the Crypto Olympics Tron (available on Binance) won by a landslide. Both coins are starting closely in the red today but who will prevail?

Litecoin (available on Coinbase) (LTC)

Litecoin (available on Coinbase) is currently the 6th largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The cryptocurrency market as a whole today has slightly corrected but prior to this, Litecoin (available on Coinbase) was making a sTron (available on Binance)g ‘bullish’ surge.

Litecoin (available on Coinbase)’s current selling price is $151.72. Its movement in the past 24 hours has yielded a loss of only -2.06%.

Will Litecoin (available on Coinbase) be able to recover and defeat its competition? We shall find out shortly.

Monero (XMR)

Monero is known as the “privacy” coin and allows for entirely anonymous cryptocurrency transactions. Currently, XMR sits at the 13th largest cryptocurrency by market cap which makes it the clear underdog between the two, but who doesn’t love a good underdog?

Currently, the digital token is trading at $248.91, a coin and it is down -0.63%, in 24 hours.

Can XMR pull it off?
